MARINE "MARINA4"
The touristic harbour Marina 4 is located at the mouth of the Livenza River, at the back of the sandy shore wonderful Porto S. Margherita, on the opposite bank of the ancient maritime town of Caorle.
It is located in the Venice province, on the northern coast of the Adriatic sea, almost equidistant from Venice and Trieste opposite the Istrian Coast between Parenzo and Rovigno.
It was built in 1965, artificially digging the actual dock, when all around there were only sand and reed thicket, remaining from the fishing valleys drained previously. And it is precisely around the new dock created in the 60's and 70's that the new center of Porto S. Margherita quickly developed.
